Diary of a Self-employed Dog Trainer: Going Online!

As we have all been reminded this year, the world is changing. But one interesting thing that has come of 2020 is an increase of companies who are going online! While this is due to social distancing needs, it also has other benefits such as businesses being able to reach more people. As I have explored the options for joining the online community to help my clients stay safe, I have noticed how much I enjoy doing online work! As a result, H.A.T.S. is officially joining the online community!

Why Online?

So why have I decided to join the online community? I have decided to launch H.A.T.S. in an online direction not just to do my part in social distancing and keep my clients safe, but also to broaden the reach of the H.A.T.S. message. Positive reinforcement is not just a training tool, it is a lifestyle that is grounded in finding and supporting each other’s strengths, even in the midst of struggles, and to be there for those who need support. Going online will provide H.A.T.S. with the flexibility it needs to help more people and their pets grow their relationships and training skills!

How H.A.T.S. is Going Online

H.A.T.S. joining the online community does not mean that in-person services are gone. H.A.T.S. has a great in-person program for those who are within our service range! However, H.A.T.S. is going online to protect people’s health and to reach more people in need of our services and H.A.T.S. is doing this through our Online Services! The H.A.T.S. Online Services include online memberships and online courses! The online membership services offer a complimentary online community that is designed to give pet owners who use positive reinforcement a place to connect and share about their training adventures! These online membership services also include paid memberships that provide members with training instructions, training videos, training challenges, and much more! The online courses will include such courses as the Ultimate New Puppy Course that will be coming out soon! These online courses will come complete with lectures, instructional videos, and homework to help clients put what they learn into practice! Through these services pet owners can find the training information and help they need, and they can get it in the comfort and safety of their homes!

Growing the H.A.T.S. Community

As the owner of H.A.T.S. I cannot wait to meet new people through these online services and provide them with easily accessible pet training tools and education! As a small business owner in a big world, I am working hard to get these services out to people who need them and as I work to provide more people and their pets with these education services, I hope you all will join the community and become a part of the H.A.T.S.
